2025/2026 Intradistrict Transfers Requests

Intradistrict Transfer Requests for the 25.26 school year is only open to the following:

  • New enrollment

  • Change of address within 5 days

    • change of address completed at the current school site for BUSD attendance boundaries

    • address requirement

Digital Transfer Request Form is available at the boundary school site.

2026/2027 Intradistrict Transfers Requests

OPEN ENROLLMENT INTRADISTRICT TRANSFERS PERIOD 1
JANUARY 7, 2026 THROUGH MARCH 1, 2026

Students who reside within district boundaries may apply for enrollment to any of our schools.  Applications for Intradistrict Transfer will be accepted during the period of January 7, 2026 through March 1, 2026 for the 2026-2027 school year.  If you wish to return to the school from which you were displaced, or if you wish to attend another school for any reason, you must submit an Intradistrict Transfer request.
 If you would like to remain at your current school site you do not need to complete the Intradistrict Transfer form.
 
Applicants who submit an Intradistrict Transfer request no later than 4:00 p.m., March 1, 2026 will receive a notification letter by April 1, 2026.   Intradistrict Transfer request link will be posted on the Brentwood Union School District website beginning on January 7, 2026, NOT BEFORE.
 
Intradistrict Transfer requests on behalf of students who have been displaced from their boundary school will be considered.
 
Intradistrict Transfer requests for siblings of students enrolled at these schools for the 2026-2027 school year will be considered if space becomes available. 

OPEN ENROLLMENT INTRADISTRICT TRANSFERS PERIOD 2
MARCH 2, 2026 THROUGH MAY 1, 2026

  • Intradistrict Transfer Open Enrollment Period 2 opens for current BUSD students March 2, 2026 and closes May 1, 2026.

  • Digital transfer request forms will be made available March 2, 2026

New 2026/2027 Kindergarten Enrollees

  • New Kindergarten Enrollees before March 15th who submit an Intradistrict transfer within 5 days of enrollment and before March 13th will be notified by April 15th.

New 2026/2027 Enrollees between March 2nd and May 1st

  • New enrollees between March 2nd and May 1st who submit Intradistrict transfer requests within 5 days of enrollment will be notified by June 1st.

New 2026/2027 Enrollees between May 2nd and the end of the current school year.

  • New enrollees between May 2nd and the end of the current school year who submit Intradistrict transfer requests within 5 days of the enrollment will be notified by June 15th.

New 2026/2027 Enrollees after the end of the current school year.

  • New enrollees after the end of the current school year who submit Intradistrict transfer requests within 5 days of enrollment will be notified within 5 days of receipt of request.
