Congratulations to our super smart Odyssey of the Mind teams from Garin, Brentwood Elementary and Ron Nunn who were on the medal stand at this weekend's tournament. All 3 advance to the state finals on March 9th. We are so proud of them as well as all of our teams and coaches! #WeareBUSD




In our continued partnership with @RedCrossNorCal our students received emergency preparedness training along with a special visit from Red Cross regional CEO, Hanna Malak, who brought along “Buddy the blood drop.” #WeareBUSD

We would like to give a big shout out to our food services department! They are not only involved in supporting our Black History Month community celebrations, but they have also partnered with a local bakery called "Bonami Baking Company" which now provides all sites fresh, sliced bread, bagels and rolls for their meals. All Bonami breads are preservative free and will be delivered to all sites at the beginning of each week for consumption! Food services continues to strive to bring great tasting, healthy foods to all our students. #WeareBUSD




Happy National School Counselor's week! Today we are recognizing Mrs. Biggs at Garin Elementary and her Recess Room! Two days a week, students can choose to spend recess with her doing fun activities! #WeareBUSD
