It's Intradistrict Transfer time once again!
The Intradistrict Transfer Open Enrollment period for the 2024-2025 school year will open on January 10, 2024.
Online Intradistrict Google Form will be available on the Student Services website. The link and QR code will be emailed to each site secretary.
Intradistrict Transfers will again be accepted on a two-tiered system. The first tier will
accommodate the Intra window from January 10th through March 1st, 2024. The second tier will open on March 2, 2024, and run through May 1, 2024. The second tier will allow consideration of Intras for families who have had a change in circumstances or may have forgotten to apply.
Remind families that the period of January 10, 2024 through March 1, 2024 is an Open
Enrollment period (OE1), and that all Intra requests received by the March 1st deadline will
be processed at the same time, not on a first-come, first-served basis.
When a student is displaced and an intra is not submitted for the following year (to return to
the boundary school), the school to which they were displaced to becomes that student's
home attendance area.
A student enrolled in your school, either by displacement or on an approved Intradistrict
Transfer will remain at your school for the upcoming school year UNLESS: 1) an
Intradistrict Transfer request to move the student to another school is approved, or 2) the
student is affected by a boundary change. All students affected by a boundary change
revert back to the designated school that corresponds with their residence address.
All 5th-grade students transitioning to 6th grade will automatically roll up to the middle
school that corresponds with their residence address. The District will notify
parents/guardians of all 5th-grade students of their students' middle school designation and
request that residence address information be updated. We anticipate that these letters will
be emailed to parents by the week of January 22, 2024.
Intradistrict Transfer requests are NOT needed in the following circumstances:
Students who are currently in your school, either by displacement or an Intradistrict
Transfer, and who wish to remain at your school (and are NOT affected by a boundary
change).
Renewal of request -- Intradistrict Transfer requests do not need to be renewed each
year.
