Isaac R. Montañez Elementary Registration Process for TK/K
1. Please verify that Isaac Montañez Elementary is your boundary school. If it is not, you will need to register at the designated boundary school.
2. Complete the ONLINE Pre-Enrollment. Pre-Enrollment for the 2025-2026 school year is now live.
3. Select an appointment time on or after February 3rd through SignUpGenius (1 per student).
4. BRING ALL DOCUMENTS TO YOUR APPOINTMENT. We will not be able to complete registration without proper documentations and will require you to make another appointment to finalize the enrollment:
Your photo ID to verify your identity (e.g. driver’s license).
Your 2 Proofs of Residency. If you are new to the area, we do give you 30 days to provide your second proof. Please note that we do not accept utility bills.
Your Child's Original Birth Certificate, not a copy.
Full Immunization Records. We will not be able to complete enrollment until your student has the required immunizations for school entry)
If applicable, a copy of your child's IEP or 504.
Please also fill out and attach your student's picture (it can be a candid shot that clearly shows the student's face) to either TK Questionnaire or K Questionnaire in the language of your choosing (the links will take you to Documents page of our website. Please scroll down and select the version you'd like) and Home Language Survey if this is your student's first entry into California public school system. If you are unable to print and complete the forms ahead of time, please make sure to be on time for your appointment to ensure that we are able to complete all the paperwork within the allotted time and bring a pi.
Your child is NOT required to be at this appointment but always welcomed.
